The world's first national park - Yellowstone - is located just 52 miles from K3 Guest Ranch. With over two million square acres to explore plan to stay more than just a day! Using K3 Guest Ranch as your "home base" will make trips to Yellowstone fun and easy, and ensure you'll have a quiet and relaxing place waiting for your at the end of the day.

The drive to Yellowstone follows the Buffalo Bill Cody Scenic Byway, along the North Fork of the Shoshone River to the east entrance. Once inside the Park there are two main "driving loops" to travel. Use these helpful links to plan your visit:

Grand Teton National Park

Some of the most breath-taking landscapes in all of Wyoming can be found in Grand Teton National Park. Located just outside the southern entrance of Yellowstone, Grand Teton Park is an easy drive from Cody, Wyoming and the K3 Guest Ranch. Travel through Yellowstone early in the morning, the best time for wildlife viewing, tour the Tetons, then lunch at the base of the mountains in Teton Village. For the adventurous, gondola rides are available to the top of the mountain. Head back to Cody in early afternoon and be back in time for a relaxing dinner, or an exciting evening at the Cody Nite Rodeo! Use the National Park Service website to plan your visit:
