The Sheepherder's Wagon & Family Tent
Sleeps up to 5
The perfect sleeping accommodations for our MOST ADVENTUROUS guests, the Sheepherder's Wagon is an original 1897 sheepherder's wagon that has been completely refurbished to provide guests a truly unique sleeping experience. Removed a bit from the main K3 Lodge, the wagon provides guests a private sitting porch for relaxing and unwinding. The interior of the wagon has been kept as close as possible to the original design of the 19th century Sheepherder Wagon but with some improvements for our 21st century travelers! Hot and cold running water, heating and air conditioning have been added, and the wagon sleeps two people in a comfortable full-sized bed. A private bath house sits just off the wagon's front porch.
The Sheepherders Wagon sleeps 2
For families who want to experience the excitement of sleeping “western” we’ve added a Family Tent House that can be reserved in conjunction with the Sheepherders Wagon.
The Family Tent sleeps 4
The Family Tent House sits atop a wooden floor with 4′ wooden walls and an additional 4′ of canvas tent walls, for a full 8′ ceiling. A large picture window looks out to the green meadow and the mountains beyond. Two sets of comfy bunk beds accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably. Guests share the adjoining bath house that sits between the Tent House and Sheepherders Wagon.
These two unique sleeping opportunities are only recommended for K3 guests who are looking for fun and excitement during their stay at the ranch! Children using the Family Tent House must be old enough to sleep alone.
